One of the oldest projects
The Project Brasil is one of the oldest projects of MMMI. We organised different medical outreaches in Rio de Janeiro with doctors and nurses. And did build some health facilities. Now this project changed when one of our board members decided to be long term in Brazil. While you read this they are instaling a new project which is a working together of different partners working in the zone of the Favela. These parties are Teen Challenge, The Aprisco foundation, A social organization for the Elderly and MMMI specifically covering the medical aspects.
Our first goal for 2021 is to see that we can support the development of an education program. We did already do this in 2019 when sponsoring a youth group that got a training in first aid, next courses to come as soon as the corona restricitons are down.
